Azerbaijan represented at the 13th International Culinary Culture Festival
Embassy of Azerbaijan in Vietnam participated in the 13th "International Culinary Culture Festival" charity fair held in Hanoi on November 22-23, 2025, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, spouse of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, state and government officials, numerous heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Vietnam, representatives of regions, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and the media.
During the festival, national souvenirs of Azerbaijan, portraits reflecting the historical visits of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to Vietnam in 1983 and Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh to Baku in 1959, as well as the meeting of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his state visit to Baku in May of this year, and other promotional materials were exhibited, and delicious samples of Azerbaijani cuisine (gutab, dolma, pilaf, various types of kebabs and Azerbaijani tea) were presented to the participants and guests.
At the event, various types of national dishes were presented to the guests by our compatriot Sahib-David Israfilov, a well-known chef in the international culinary field, Vice President of the World Barbecue Association (WBQA), official judge of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). During the festival, the Azerbaijani pavilion was the most visited by local residents and foreign tourists.
As during other events, the Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism partnered with the Embassy in this festival, and the students of the College assisted in the pavilion of our country.
The event was widely covered in the Vietnamese media.
