Criminal Record Certificate

The certificate is issued by self-appeal with his/her ID to prove identity.

The citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who currently do not reside in the territory of the country and foreign citizens who previously resided in the Republic of Azerbaijan can apply to Criminal Record Certificate (to obtain Police Clearance Certificate) through the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hanoi.

The application is sent by the Embassy via the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Main Operations & Statistics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. After the appropriate examination, the certificate is received at the Embassy to be submitted to the applicant. The processing takes up to two months from the date of the submission of the documents.

Applications are accepted either by post or in person.

The following documents are required:

  1. A photocopy of valid (not expired) passport or Identity card of a citizen (şəxsiyyət vəsiqəsi);
  2. Application form;
  3. The receipt of the Payment of the state fee (10 USD) to the following bank account of the Embassy:

Note: The state fee is accepted only in USD.
