"What do I know about Azerbaijan" essay contest

Announce an Essay competition:
“What Do I Know About Azerbaijan?”
Details of the Essay Competition:
The competition is open for participation for Vietnamese youth in the following age group :
- Students and young researchers aged 18 – 29
Essays must be written in one of the following languages - English, Russian or Vietnamese and not longer than 2,500 words in font Arial, size 12.
Deadline: Accomplished documents must be sent in Word and PDF format to the email address of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan az.emb.hanoi@gmail.com, not later than June 28, 2019.
The following documents must be submitted along with the essay:
- Application Form (download)
- Short Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Copy of passport or identification card.
Applicants are invited to choose one of the following topics:
- Heydar Aliyev: National leader of Azerbaijan
- History, art and culture of Azerbaijan
- Population, language, traditions and religion of Azerbaijan
- Azerbaijan's role in international politics
- Azerbaijan and Vietnam: 27 years of strong partnership and fruitful cooperation
- Economic development of Azerbaijan
- Oil and gas strategy of Azerbaijan
- Realities of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
- Azerbaijan – a multi-ethnic nation
- Centennial of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- Azerbaijan at the crossroad of civilizations
- Free topic
- Winners will be selected by an expert group based on the content of the essay.
- The trip to Azerbaijan will take place by the second half of August, 2019.
- All expenses (visa facilitation, airplane tickets, local transportation, accommodation and meals) of winners related to the 7-day visit to Azerbaijan will be covered by organizers.
- Competition winners will also receive a certificate from the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
