On September 22, 2017 there was held the 2-nd Vietnam – Azerbaijan Friendship Forum in Vung Tau city of Vietnam. The event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

In the event “Taraggi” medals were presented to Mrs. Nguyen Vu Ha Le, Director General of Department for External Affairs, Office of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Mr. Nghiem Vu Khai, Chairman of Vietnam – Azerbaijan Friendship Association, Member of National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam that awarded by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 11 for their the services rendered to the development of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
