On December 27, 2016 Mr. Ambassador Anar İmanov met with Mr. Doan Van Viet, Chairman of Lam Dong Province People's Committee. In the meeting there was discussion on building cooperation between Shaki city of Azerbaijan and Lam Dong province.

It was stressed that there is huge potential of cooperation and necessary measures should be taken to use this potential. In the meeting Mr. Doan Van Viet invited the leaders of Shaki city to pay a visit to Lam Dong Province. Moreover, Mr. Doan Van Viet invited Azerbaijani companies to build business cooperation with Lam Dong province and said that favorable conditions will be provided for them. In the end of the meeting it was agreed to continue cooperation between the Embassy and Lam Dong Province People's Committee.
