On December 2, H. E. Mr. Ambassador Anar Imanov met with H. E. Mr. Savankhone Razmountry Vice Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Member of Parliament, President of Journalists’ Association of Lao. During the meeting there were discussions on bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lao in the spheres of information, culture and tourism.

In the meeting Ambassador stressed that there was traditional friendship relations between Azerbaijan and Lao and media plays an important role to inform young generation about this relations, as well as to build cultural relations between the two nations. Ambassador expressed his hope that the Ministry and the Association will support to build cooperation between the media structures of Azerbaijan and Lao.

Savankhone Razmountry said that he also shares the idea that the cooperation between the media structures will be mutually beneficial. Talking about the cooperation in the field of culture he emphasized the importance of holding Azerbaijani culture days in Lao and Laotian culture days in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting there was also an exchange of ideas, and the parties agreed to promote cooperation between the tourism companies of both countries.
