On November 30, 2016 H. E. Mr. Ambassador Anar Imanov met with H. E. Mr. Khammany Inthilat, Minister of Energy and Mining of Lao PDR. In the meeting there were discussions on bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy and mining.

Ambassador gave information about the achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of energy and stressed that Azerbaijani side intended to cooperate and share its experience with Laotian side.

Minister informed Ambassador about mining in Lao and shared his views on future cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting there was an exchange of ideas on promoting cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lao companies specialized in the field of energy as well as mining.
