On November 24, 2016 H. E. Mr. Anar Imanov, Ambassador met with H. E. Mr. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

In the meeting Ambassador Anar Imanov emphasized the importance of official visit of H. E. Mr. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 21-23, 2014 in strengthening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Cambodia. Ambassador stressed the significance of realization the agreements that achieved during the mentioned visit in different spheres, as well as in the field of tourism.

In his turn Minister Thong Khon said that Cambodian side is interested in building  cooperation with Azerbaijani and increasing flow of tourists between the two countries. Besides, Minister expressed his intention of visiting Azerbaijan in 2017  in order to discuss perspectives of cooperation in detail.

In the meeting there was exchange of ideas on necessary measures to develop cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cambodia in the field of tourism.
