Azerbaijan - Cambodia relations
Brief information on diplomatic relations:
On 23 December 2013, Anar Lachin oglu İmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Socialist Republic of Vietnam was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Hanoi. On 12 April 2014, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Cambodia Anar Imanov presented his credentials to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni.
High-level mutual visits:
21-23 April 2014 – Visit of Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Azerbaijan.
21-24 November 2012 – Participation of the delegation of Combodia to Azerbaijan led by of Sok Ann, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia in 7 -th International Conference of General Assembly of Asian political parties held in Baku.
Other visits:
4-6 April, 2014 – Visit of the delegation of Combodia to Azerbaijan led by of Ouch Borithin, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The purpose of the visit was preparatory work for the planned visit of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia on April 21-23, 2014. 22-23 June, 2012 – Participation of Keo Puthreasmey, Counselor of the Government of Cambodia, Chairman of FUNCINPEC party of Cambodia in 17th session of Permanent Committee of International Conference of Asian political parties. 10-13 February 2008 – Visit of Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Azerbaijan.
